The "Regenerative Sustainability – from Design to Construction" workshop, organised by Domus Social and Católica Porto Business School as part of INSURE.Hub, will take place on 26 March, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Comendador Arménio Miranda Auditorium (Biotechnology Building).
This event is designed for professionals in the fields of design and construction but is also open to the general public. Participation is free of charge, subject to prior registration and limited to the auditorium's capacity.
Throughout the workshop, you will have the opportunity to:
- Understand the concept of regenerative sustainability and its role in urban development;
- Explore practical applications of this knowledge;
- Learn about the European Union's guidelines for more sustainable cities.
In addition to expert panels on design, construction, and maintenance, the session will feature, in the opening remarks, the vice-rector of Universidade Católica Portuguesa for the Porto Regional Centre, Isabel Braga da Cruz, and the councillor for Urban Planning, Public Space, and Housing, Pedro Baganha. The closing remarks will be delivered by the deputy mayor of Porto, Filipe Araújo.
