As part of a partnership with the Porto Municipal Police, Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto invites the entire academic community to take part in the Smoke-Free Project initiatives, an opportunity to reflect and take action on smoking habits within the community.
The first session will take place on 11 November at 11:00, in the Carvalho Guerra Auditorium, featuring an Awareness Session on the Harmful Effects of Tobacco. The session will include a talk by Pedro Norton, specialist in Occupational and General Medicine and Director of the Occupational Health Service at Centro Hospitalar Universitário São João, as well as recommendations from the Porto Municipal Police.
On 17 November, the project will extend to the city of Porto with an awareness-raising initiative marking World No Tobacco Day, including a symbolic activity to clean cigarette butts from the streets.
Join this awareness campaign, learn more, and be part of the movement towards a Smoke-Free City.
