This Wednesday and Thursday, Católica Porto Business School was present in Lisbon at the Grand Closing Conference of the Negócios Sustentabilidade 20|30, of which it is a partner.
Our dean, João Pinto, took part in the morning panel on 8 May, dedicated to the theme "The importance of human capital and DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion). How to attract talent?". The dean was joined by Gonçalo Nascimento (L'Oréal Portugal), Graça Fonseca (NovaSBE) and Mariana Silva (MC Sonae), moderated by Helena Garrido (journalist and curator of the Negócios Sustainability initiative).
"The big problem for organisations today is attracting and retaining talent", said João Pinto during his speech, stressing the fundamental role of inclusion policies in people management strategies.
This conference marked the end of a cycle of meetings dedicated to the three ESG pillars (Environmental, Social, and Governance). Católica Porto Business School, as a partner, had already been involved in the initiative by hosting the conference dedicated to the social pillar in January.
