On 18 and 19 September, João Pinto, Dean of Católica Porto Business School, will take part in the next edition of DSPA Insights 2024, which will be held at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon (FCUL).
This event, organised by the Data Science Portuguese Association (DSPA), is one of the main references in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence in Portugal. This year, under the theme "AI enhancing business", DSPA Insights will bring together more than 40 national and international experts to discuss trends, challenges and innovations in the world of data.
João Pinto will be one of the speakers on 19 September and will present the INSURE.hub (of which he is co-leader), and advances in the area of innovation and sustainability, connecting them to Data Science and Artificial Intelligence (AI). "I will demonstrate how AI can be used to promote innovation, namely in the development of new molecules and supplements in the area of food and nutrition, and discuss how AI and Data Science affect our organisations", said João Pinto.
