The International Degree in Management promoted by Católica Porto Business School, Católica Luanda Business School, and IAG – PUC-Rio Business School, has concluded its first edition with a week-long immersion in Brazil. This programme stands out for offering immersive experiences across three Portuguese-speaking countries connected by the Atlantic Ocean: Angola, Brazil, and Portugal.
After an immersion in Angola in March 2024 and another in Porto in July of the same year, participants completed their journey in Rio de Janeiro. During this stage, they had the opportunity to visit top institutions in their respective fields, such as the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (FIOCRUZ), Globo, Petrobras, and the Brazilian Navy.
The closing ceremony took place at the IAG – PUC-Rio Business School premises. João Pinto, Dean of Católica Porto Business School, highlighted that the International Degree in Management “is a perfect example of an educational offering that strengthens ties between countries connected by the Portuguese language and enhances our students' learning experience in key management areas.”
For Cosme Almeida, Director of Abroad Programmes at Católica Porto Business School, “this diversity of group experiences across three continents will undoubtedly prepare participants for the challenges of a globalised world in their respective fields.” The event also featured representatives from the partner schools.
The International Degree in Management is a triple-degree, awarding participants a diploma from each of the three Schools involved. A result of the collaboration between Católica Porto Business School, Católica Luanda Business School, and IAG – PUC-Rio Business School, the programme is designed for professionals fluent in Portuguese who wish to deepen their knowledge of management, with a strong focus on Lusophone markets.
