This Wednesday, Católica Porto Business School organised another Career Day, an essential event for connecting our students to the business world. At a decisive moment such as the transition to the labour market, this initiative offers a unique networking opportunity, allowing students to explore options, meet companies and take the next steps in their careers.
The 2025 edition was attended by more than 100 representatives from around 60 national and international companies.
The event was divided into two simultaneous initiatives: the Career Fair, where students had the chance to browse the stands, find out about internship opportunities and other full-time vacancies.
They also took part in speed-interviews, which gave them closer contact with the companies.
For Pedro Leite, Procter & Gamble's representative at the event, "the Career Day is an essential tool for Procter & Gamble to get closer to its students. Católica Porto Business School is a reference school in the North of Portugal, and we want to strengthen this link, ensuring that future P&G leaders come from this school. We've been working together over the years, especially on recruitment initiatives".
Miguel Vicente, a double degree student in Law and Management, emphasises the impact of the event on his trajectory: "Career Day is fundamental for us to learn more about the opportunities offered by each company and to be better informed. Católica Porto Business School gives us contact with a wide range of companies, which helps us to better explore our professional future".
During the morning, Católica Porto Business School met with company representatives to hear their views on skills, recruitment, innovation and strategic priorities.
This initiative reinforces proximity to the business community, ensuring that training is adapted to market needs and promotes better integration of students into the world of work. This event is organised by the Career and Development Office, a service specially geared towards Católica Porto Business School students.
