On October 16th, Católica Porto Business School (CPBS) was at QS Discover & Connect in Milan.
QS Discover & Connect is a fair aimed at international master’s students. In this year’s edition, around 50 universities worldwide and more than 2 thousand Italian students were present. In this context, the participation of Católica Porto Business School in this event was an opportunity to maximize the recruitment of these students through direct and personal contact, presenting the school and its training offer.
Católica Porto Business School already has some Italian students, both internally and through the Erasmus+ program. But it also has a solid connection to university education in Italy, which translates into partnerships with several leading universities: Luiss Business School, Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Politecnico di Milano, Università Cattolica Del Sacro Cuore and Luiss - Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli.
According to Joana César Machado, Associate Dean for Global Education: “Católica Porto Business School is a business school that has been committed to internationalization for many years. And in several aspects, namely in teaching, research, partnerships with other academic institutions, and in connection with multinational companies. But also in attracting students of other nationalities to our school. Participation in this event helps to demonstrate the high quality of our teaching to potential candidates”.
Presence at these events also allows CPBS to learn about trends in higher education internationally and expand its network of contacts with prestigious partners, reinforcing its character of excellence and constant innovation.
