Católica Porto Business School is proud to announce its recent membership in the Association of African Business Schools (AABS), a globally recognised organisation that sets standards for business education in Africa and brings together business schools from various African and European countries.
Católica Porto Business School has a longstanding commitment to the African continent. One of our flagship projects, spanning over a decade, is the “Programa Atlântico” / Atlantic Programme, an international postgraduate degree in Management offered in collaboration with the business schools of the Católica Universities of Angola (Católica Luanda Business School), Brazil (Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro) and Portugal (Católica Porto Business School).
João Pinto, Dean of Católica Porto Business School, shares his optimism: “We are excited about the potential that Africa holds, not just in the transferable skills that emerge from the multicultural contacts this relation provides, but also in the areas where we believe African Business Schools can pioneer. Our membership in AABS is a beacon of hope, a platform to foster cross-continental collaboration, promote global standards, and contribute to the development of professionals for a global, sustainable, and ethical society.”
For Católica Porto Business School, joining the Association of African Business Schools is an excellent opportunity to promote collaboration between European and African business schools based on an exchange of diverse and multicultural perspectives and more closely support the advancement of business education in Africa.
