Last month marked the conclusion of another edition of ELITE Training: Strategy & Finance, an initiative by the ELITE group supported by Católica Porto Business School. With a focus on strategy, finance and internationalisation, this programme further strengthens the School’s commitment to the development of the Portuguese business ecosystem.

As the academic partner of ELITE – a Euronext platform dedicated to the growth and empowerment of private companies – Católica Porto Business School has been working alongside the Portuguese Business Association (AEP) to expand the ELITE network in the north of the country, welcoming a new group of five companies.

Over six intensive days, participants in this edition of ELITE Training delved into advanced topics in strategic planning, organisational alignment, operations, investment and financing, as well as developing the skills needed to operate in multicultural and global environments.

The training sessions featured contributions from several Católica Porto Business School faculty members, including António Ramalho, Arménio Rego and Luís Marques. José Alberto Azeredo Lopes, from the Faculty of Law at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto, was also present, as was Carlos Vieira, Executive Director for Executive Education at Católica Porto Business School School.

In addition to these experts, Católica Porto Business School brings together a broader academic team involved in ELITE projects, from a variety of scientific backgrounds, including João Pinto (Dean of the School), Gonçalo Faria, Susana Costa e Silva, Paulo Alves and Luísa Anacoreta.
