Católica Porto Business School (CPBS) and OROC – Ordem dos Revisores Oficiais de Contas (Association of Chartered Accountants) signed September 21st, an agreement for executives’ education and training.
The protocol makes it possible to strengthen the connection between the two institutions further, offering OROC members preferential conditions for access to courses in the CPBS Executive Education catalogue. For Rui Soucasaux Sousa, “this association between academia and prestigious institutions in the world of practice is a goal of the school, as is the case with professional orders in general and OROC in particular. We have programs of excellence, with international recognition, which constitute opportunities for professional enrichment and qualification”.
Virgílio Macedo reinforced the idea that collaboration between CPBS and OROC is an added value for both, “as well as an added value for all our members. The activity they carry out, for example, due to the importance of verifying public accounts, must be based on values such as integrity, independence, and competence”.
The Executive Education offered at Católica Porto Business School is distributed throughout the year, in areas that also include Human Capital and Leadership, Sustainability, Marketing and Sales, and Sectoral Training. The list of available programmes can be consulted here.
