Católica Porto Business School has signed a partnership agreement with Bankinter Portugal, further strengthening their shared commitment to deepening cooperation between academia and the financial sector. The official signing ceremony took place in Porto and was attended by representatives from both institutions.

For the dean of Católica Porto Business School, João Pinto, this partnership reflects the School’s strategic positioning: “We have increasingly sought to build closer ties with businesses, and the banking sector is particularly relevant for a business school like ours, which has always had strong links to finance. We want to ensure that the knowledge generated here has a real impact and translates into development opportunities for professionals and organisations.”

One of the main pillars of the agreement is the preferential access granted to Bankinter Portugal employees to the School’s Executive Education programmes. “Executive training is one of the areas we’ve been most focused on. This partnership is also an opportunity to promote stronger connections between the two communities,” João Pinto adds.

In addition to enhancing professional qualifications, the agreement also paves the way for cooperation in areas such as innovation and entrepreneurship, drawing on the strengths of both institutions.

According to Pedro Ervilha, Chief Financial Officer, Head of People Management and Communications, and member of the Executive Committee at Bankinter Portugal, “this agreement represents an important step in the cooperation between Bankinter Portugal and Católica Porto Business School. It reinforces our strategy to invest in the development and recognition of our people through the knowledge, experience and prestige of this institution.”

The signing ceremony was attended by Bruno Pereira (Director of Talent Attraction, Talent Management and HR Business Partner at Bankinter Portugal) and, representing Católica Porto Business School, João Pinto (Dean), Carlos Vieira (Executive Education Director), Luís Marques (Executive MBA Director), and Sofia Graça (Head of Marketing & Communication).
