Católica Porto Business School, in partnership with PwC, is organising the Conference on the State Budget for 2025.
Date and time: December 4th (Wednesday), 9 a.m.
Venue: Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Porto, Ilídio Pinho Auditorium
Programme: see below for more information.
This initiative will be a unique opportunity to gain a comprehensive overview of tax and economic issues that are essential for professionals and companies dealing with tax and budgetary issues. We will promote an in-depth debate on current tax challenges, the impact of tax policies on companies and the potential for relationships between companies and universities. The session will also be a platform to explore the opportunities and challenges of corporate sustainability strategies, namely linked to ESG - Environmental, Social and Governance - indicators.
The session will close with the participation of the Secretary of State for Tax Affairs, Cláudia Reis Duarte, who will emphasise the importance of alignment between the public and private sectors on tax issues.
Following the final global vote on the 2025 State Budget, this session will be an excellent opportunity to debate and gain valuable insights into various areas of activity for companies and organisations. And for students in the areas of finance, economics, management and taxation, among others, to delve deeper into some topics of interest and practical knowledge of the area.
