Andrew Pierce

Dr. Pierce joined the Robinson College of Business in 2023. Prior to joining GSU, Dr. Pierce served as an assistant professor at the University of Manchester. He teaches financial reporting and accounting analytics classes at the undergraduate and graduate level. His research relates to disclosure regulation, insider trading, and the role of information intermediaries, such as institutional investors and the business press, in capital markets. Dr. Pierce’s research has been published in the Journal of Accounting Research, the Journal of Accounting and Economics, and The Accounting Review. Dr. Pierce received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas.
