The Post-Graduation in Events Organization and Management was created, starting from a holistic view of the nationally based events market, but without losing sight of the influence of international markets and the expected development perspectives for the sector in the future. In the national case, the industry has suffered the effects of the post-pandemic economic reaction and the inherent consequences of public policies at the level of all public and private players. At the same time, it has been possible to witness developments in terms of participation in new trends, such as inclusion, environmental sustainability, and the circular economy. But other areas have contributed to reaffirming the sector in the national economy in the post-pandemic period, such as the improvement of processes and operational procedures and the effort to better the sociological and cultural framework of events. There has also been an incentive to entrepreneurship and an approach to artistic activity, parallel with active contributions to sustainable development by the UNFCCC guidelines. These areas are the way forward, both in terms of business and education. Thus, we aim to use the most qualified experiences available in the market, both in the panel of Professors and in the forum of Speakers, so that CPBS can provide a complete and comprehensive offer. Our offer includes a more practical and visionary curriculum plan which aims to prepare students for a more demanding competitive environment at various levels, namely in terms of sustainability.
