“A predominantly results-oriented leader may feel “heartburn” when dealing with someone who is very concerned with rules, principles, procedures and processes – as they interpret these “details” as inefficiencies and obstacles to the search for results. However, neglecting procedures can be unsustainable if pursuing ends (i.e., results) neglects ethics, prudence and wisdom of means.”
