A sunset to remember: Católica Porto Business School marks the end of the undergraduate journey for finalist students

Last Monday, 1 June, Católica Porto Business School once again brought together its undergraduate finalist students for one of the most symbolic moments of their academic journey: the Chill Sunset, an initiative that marks the end of a particularly meaningful chapter in students’ lives and celebrates the bonds built throughout their years at the School.

Following the final presentations of the Final Project course, students gathered with faculty, staff and School teams for a social moment designed to celebrate the end of their academic journey at Católica Porto Business School, one of the final moments shared together before completing their undergraduate degree.

Throughout the day, students presented their Final Project work before panels composed of School faculty and industry professionals, in an exercise representing the culmination of the work developed over the semester and an opportunity to engage more closely with the realities of the business world.

More than the end of a cycle, the Chill Sunset symbolises the transition to a new stage, marked by entry into the labour market, further studies or new professional challenges. A journey that, while concluding one chapter, maintains a lasting connection to the School and to the Católica Porto Business School alumni community.

During the closing session, the Dean of Católica Porto Business School, João Pinto, and the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Programmes, Helena Correia, addressed the finalist students, acknowledging the significance of the occasion and wishing them success in the new chapter now beginning.

Among photographs, reunions and celebrations, the Chill Sunset once again established itself as one of the most special moments in the Católica Porto Business School academic calendar, a final milestone experienced in community, before new beginnings.
