Frederico Maciel, Católica Porto Business School MSc in Management Alumni, was awarded the 2nd position in the Porto Economy Prize, promoted by the Câmara Municipal do Porto (Porto City Council).

"Development of a Data Report Structure for Porto City Council: Literature Review and benchmark analysis on best dashboard design practices" was the title of the outstanding work guided by Professor Alberto Castro. "The theme is part of the urgent need for the public sector to organise itself and use Information Technology and Data Analysis to leverage social and economic development in Portugal", explains Frederico Maciel.

The award distinguishes academic dissertations or other original research work that focuses on a theme of relevance and interest for the city's economy annually.
